Sephiroth's appearances have served as the basis for several types of merchandise. There have been various figures, such as the "Extra Knights" series published by Bandai in 1997, the "Final Fantasy Trading Arts" series, and the "Play Arts" series. Kotobukiya has also created a series of cold casts. Products not connected to the release of the games or movies have also been produced. Some companies have produced replicas of Sephiroth's sword, Masamune, and others have made replicas of Sephiroth's costume. Other types of merchandise includes jewelery, collectible phone cards, and plush toys.
